On this page I'll list previous issues of my e-zine. Here's an example of the format I might use. For all the prophets and the law have prophesied until John. And if you are willing
to receive it, he is Elijah who was to come. (Matt. 11:13-14)
And the disciples asked him, saying, "Why then do the scribes say that Elijah
must come first?" But he answered them and said, "Elijah indeed is to come and will restore all
things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they wished.
So also shall the Son of Man suffer at their hand." As christians we are taught that when we die our bodies retun to the earth and our spirits rest until the
next coming of Christ (the rapture). The topic of reincarnation is looked upon as blasphemis and is not biblical. But have you
met a person and felt that you have known them before? Or have visited a place for the first time, yet you remember this place
from before,or maybe have had a dream about it? Is it coinsidence? Or could it be something more? In this article I will discuss
some of the scriptures found in the bible that mentions the idea of reicarnation. Let's begin with Matt. 17:10-13
And the disciples asked him, saying, "Why then do the scribes say that Elijah
must come first?" But he answered them and said, "Elijah indeed is to come and will restore all
things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they wished.
So also shall the Son of Man suffer at their hand." Then the disciples understood that he had spoken of John the Baptist." In this passage Jesus describes John the Baptist as being the great prophet Elijah. Now if Elijah
was taken up to heaven in a chariot and his spirit should be resting until Christ comes back then how could he be standing
there before them as human being? His words are very clear Elijah did come back to this earth as flesh and blood. This statement
proved the phrophesies of the coming of the messiah,so if the disciples knew John to be Elijah then Jesus was the Messiah. Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet, before the coming of the great and
dreadful day of the Lord. (Mal. 4:5) Now if John the baptist was not Elijah then either the prophesy is wrong or Jesus wasn't the messiah. The next pasage is:
And he [John the Baptist] will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power
of Elijah. (Luke 1:17) Now we know that John the Baptist was beheaded before Christ's suffering, but in this passage it clearly states
that John the Baptist will go before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah. He couldn't possible go in the spirit of Elijah
if he wasn't Elijah. If he was able to do that then either he has more then one spirit or John the Baptist is his twin flame, hmmmm.
And as he was passing by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked
him, "Rabbi, who has sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents, but the works of
God were to be made manifest in him.'" (John 9:1-3) If you read this passage closely the disciples are asking Jesus who sinned, the man or his parents. How would
a fetus be able to sin if they did not exsist before? Are children guilty of sin before birth? And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never
enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me."” (Matt. 18:3-5) "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell
you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” (Matt. 18:10) As you can see Jesus was fond of children and innocent before him.So how could he have possibly sinned in
his conception of birth? He couldn't have unless he sinned prior to this. When the Old Testiment talks about being born into
sin it simply means that man is born with free will and is imperfect, but children were not held accountable until they reached
13 years of age,This was because children don't understand the full concept of right and wrong or sin. These are ony a few scriptures that are found to support reincarnation. Aside from scipture,it just makes
sence. Think about this,if we have only 1 physical life to learn the lessons we are supposed to learn then what happens to
a mentally or developementally ill person who isn't able to fully able to comprehend those lessons.Who may have spent
their entire life in an institution and never heard of Christ. Will he not be allowed in the kingdom of heaven because he
born with this illness? What about a sinner who never had a chance to redeem themselves? But even as christians, don't we still
sin? I could go on and on about this, but the choice to believe in reincarnation belongs to the individual. The purpose of
this article is simply to awaken the mind of the Christian witch who is struggeling with this concept,as I have in the past.
I hope that this article will help you along with prayes that you may find truth and and spiritual growth . Blessed Be. Sirinity |
